Per an earlier response to you via a different list, Henry, born Sept. 9,
1825 was the gransdson of Mathurin and Gamime Kambel. Henry's parents were
John Dorsey and Catherine Riggs. The ifo re Mathurin comes from the
baptismal record for Henry - see below. I couldn't find the actual marriage
record for John and Catherine Riggs. John Dorsey most likely wasn't born in
Louisiana. He died before Sept. 27, 1833 - see succession record.

Searching for info about Mathurin Dorsey who was born abt 1800 probably in
Louisiana. He married Gamime Kambel and had a son Henry who was born 9 Sep
