Is there anyone on this site doing research on the Mathew Shadrick Jones family. Family originated in North Carolina and Mathew settled in Many, Louisiana in the 1830s or 1840s forward. Census records show that his children born in the mid-1840s were born in Louisiana. According to family, he may have died in Sabine Parish prior to 1870.

I would appreciate any information that is provided.
