1920 OKLAHOMA Census - Grant County ??? Bluff Twp.

The dates and/or information on the ages are wrong. The information on this
soundex card is very clear as far as dates and ages are concerned.

This must have been some nice guy. Took in his Dad and Sister.....Kudos to
Jim!

LATTA, JAMES P. Age 31, born May 1869 Missouri **check dates- WRONG!
LATTA, Robert W. Father Sept. 1826 Age 73 born Indiana- they
don't know how to count. THESE ARE WRONG!
Colb, Sarah I. Sister Aug 1859 Age 40? WRONG! WRONG!
WRONG!

Now starting with the father, if he was 73 in 1920 he was born in 1847 not
1826 as stated (approx)
If son James was 31, he was born in 1899 not 1869 as
stated.(approx)
If sister Sarah was 40, she was born in 1890 not 1859 as
stated (approx)

which makes sense.

. IF the father was born in 1826 in 1920 he would have been 106 years
old, not 73 as stated
If James was born in 1869 in 1920, he would have been 59
years old, not 31 as stated.
If sister Sarah was born in 1859, in 1920 she would have been 61
years old, not 40 as stated.

Now, you can decide which is correct. Was the father indeed 106 years old???
Could have been......
