Sir:
I am in search for the parents of my 3rd Great Grandfather, John
McVay. I am 99.9% certain he was raised by Elizabeth and Jane LATTA -
Branch 3, Daughters of Moses (9), #'s 158 and 159 respectively. I am
interested in any information that may have surfaced ref. this. I have
obtained my info from US Census Records and others sources. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

FYI - John was born about 1825 and married Rebecca _____ (b. abt. 1835)
in about 1856. John apparently worked on Elizabeth and Jane's farm near
Pleasant Unity - Westmoreland County. 1840 census record indicate he
was probably 14/15 years old living with them there. He appears on the
1850 census record named. A relative in the Westmoreland area has told
me she believes John parents were "lost at sea" traveling either to or
from Ireland. At this time, I have nothing more.
