Hi Janice, great to hear from another Branch #1..Do you happen to have the
death date for Virgil Willis Latta? Also the names and birthdates off all
of their children , and any other family history? Do you have a copy of the
family picture of the Benjamin Franklin Family? I have a fair copy of that
that I could send to you if you are interested in any of this Latta
Stuff...Also do you know anything about Elba Irvin Latta? I have just
started doing this Latta part of my husbands family history....I have just
completed the Marlow stuff, now there was some interesting family
history.... If you have ever seen the movie "The sons of Katie Elder",
well that is a story about the Marlow Brothers outlaws?? but never
convicted, just like the shoot em, up bang , bangs....lol this branch of
Marlows I have not been able to tie into our Marlow family, but because of
one of the outlaw Marlows is why our name is not Marlow but Moran...my
husbands grandfather George, carried the same name as one of the outlaw
Marlows and birthyears were only about 20 years apart and our George kept
being accused of stealing so he changed his name to Moran, after none other
than the famous outlaw Bugs Moran, now doesn"t that make sense??? lol
anyway the fun things you learn about family history....
Do you have any pictures of Virgil Willis you could share ? anyway thanks
for the reply and hope to hear from you soon......Dianna
