Hi from the Knee family in Minnesota.

I'll just take a moment and explain why there are Knees on the Lauver family
tree. Michael Lauver and his wife, Catherine Swalley. had a son, named
Joseph. Joseph married Elizabeth Lydia Musser and had 10 children. One of
which was Frank Josiah Lauver. Frank married Fannie Farrow and had 3
children. After the birth of the 3rd child (Harry), Fannie died. Frank gave
Harry to the Knee family to raise. Frank later married again, to Mary Keith,
and had 2 children. My husband is the great-grandson of Harry Lauver Knee.
Our brick wall is finding information on Harrys mother who died in 1894
or 95. Short of Harrys birth certificate, we have no information on her. We
are also looking for information on Joseph, Lydia, and their family.
