Charles Monroe Tolar

Services for Charles Monroe Tolar, 55, of Winnfield, were held at 2 p.m.
Tuesday at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro with the Rev. Willie
James officiating.

Burial was in Hebron Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Mr. Tolar died Sunday, January 18, 1981 at the Tioga Manor Nursing Home after
a long illness.

He was a retired paper mill worker.

Survivors include three sons, Lynn Tolar of Winnfield, Larry and Barry Tolar
of Ruston; six daughters, Mrs. Gloria Anders of Sarepta, Mrs. Ester Spears of
Winnfield, Mrs. Nina Harvey of Arcadia, Mrs. Sharon Trevillion of Simsboro,
Mrs. Theresa Norman of Choudrant, and Laresea Tolar of Jonesboro; a sister,
Mrs. Patsy Newsom of Winnfield; and 17 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Richie Tolar, Ronnie Tolar, Rusty Tolar, Al Newsom, Dale
Newsom, and Ralph Hargrove.
