In 1900 Winn Parish Census, Ward 2, #22, is Alex G. Harveston, head, born
July 1872 in La., as were both his parents. His wife is Canara, age 25,
b. Mar. 1875 in La. Her father was born in Al., and mother in La. They
have been married 8 yrs and have two children: Blanch, b. May 1893, and
Lewis E., b. Aug 1895.
There is a Charles F. Whitehead in household #147, Ward 2, who might be
Canara's father. He was born Mar. 1847 in Al., and his wife is Martha A.,
b. Dec 1847. They have one son, Charles R., b. Nov. 1883. Charles F. Whitehead
is also in the 1880 Winn Census with the following children/ages: Cornelius
E., 13, Oscar B., 11, Cora M., 10, Mary C., 7, and John W., 5. The Mary
C. Whitehead in this family would be two years older than the wife of A.G.
Harveston, but...
