Peter's parents were:
George Leffler b. about 1751 in Berks Co., PA d. March 8, 1831 in Harrison
Co., IN
Christiana Philabaum b. about 1756 d. about 1816

Peter and Catherine children were:
Daniel b. Jan. 23, 1805 Shelby Co., KY d. March 16, 1864 Harrison Co., IN
Amanda b. 1810 d. Oct. 1, 1888 Harrison Co., IN
Levi b. about 1814 KY
Mary Catherine Leffler b. Sept. 27, 1815 d. March 31, 1904 Harrison Co., IN
Phoebe Ann Leffler b. 1823 d. 1870
Peter Leffler b. about 1824 IN
Catherine Leffler b. about 1829 Harrison Co., IN

Would like to compare notes with others working on this family. From recent
finds in my research it appears Peter Leffler may have been married before
his marriage to Catharina Pfeiffer (1785-post.1860), daughter of Georg
Henrich Pfeiffer and his wife Anna Philippina. Looks like Peter may have
moved ca. 1795 from Donegal Twp, Washington Co, PA, to the Hagerstown area
in Washington Co, MD, before moving on to Shelby Co, KY. Hope to hear from
others working on this family.
