my husband's grt. grndmother was Hannah Leffler b. 22, Feb, 1817 in KY . Parents unknown Father was from VA Mother was from Germany . Hannah m. 30, June 1840 in Grant Co. IN to Jacob Myers . lived in several counties in IN for 10 yrs. and then in Van Buren Co. IA and Clay and Scotland Co. MO . migrated to Oregon via wagontrain in 1864 and homesteaded , died and is buried in Jackson county OR.
I am seeking to also find a Melody (Leffler) Hoxie who is the daughter or granddaughter of a Ernest Leffler who had lived in the Rogue Valley of Oregon (Jackson & Josephine counties) . Melody Hoxie has done a lot of research of the Leffler families and her last known address was in Joshua Tree CA .. anyone know where she is now ??
