I have traced my Layden connection back to William Leyden or Leaden who was born about 1830 in Trinity Bay, Newfoundland. I recently discovered an old magazine article about the Leyden's in Newfoundland in which it was stated that William Leyden's Grandfather had emigrated to Newfoundland from Scotland.

Is anyone researching the Leyden's of Scotland. I would love to compare information.
