I too, am looking for my grandfather who died in l954 (circa) in tonawanda NY. Maybe he went back there because he had family ie., his father who died in l962 as you indicated. Please write to me. I never knew my grandfather but I do know that he was an inventor and had lived in Montreal, Canada where he met my paternal grandmother. They never married therefore my father never did meet Gustav. If this is the same family from Sweden originally then please email me. I would love to hear anything about him.
