I, too, have been trying to find a connection between my Wisconsin LINDL family and Sebastian Lindl and family. According to my records, my JOSEPH LINDL(E) and SEBASTIAN LINDLE were both living in Jefferson Township, Jefferson County, WI in 1850. JOSEPH LINDL and family were strong Catholics who came from Bavaria before 1848. I would love to compare notes with you to see if we can't find a connection. I would guess that these two men were brothers or cousins. Hope to hear from you soon.
