Sue, I recall my father always speaking of an uncle "Jesse". My grandmother was Easter Almeada Lockaby, daughter of John George Lockaby and granddaughter of George and America (Reams) Lockaby, great-grand daughter of Mahala Catching. My father is still living and I can ask him the details. My sister has all of our family's geneology records and she will know more than I will definitely. Email me and I will be happy to find out some info for you. I'm sure your Lockaby's are related to mine very closely somehow! lol...in a family where everyone named their children after other family members, it makes it hard to tell without comparing dates, etc.! ;)
