Hi Norm,

It is much cheaper for a NC State resident to request info from the State of
NC ... waaaaay cheaper. The Archives usual fee is $20 a request for
out-of-State and $2 or $3 for in-State. Some local Court House's that
occasionally have a will that is needed have sometimes only request a self
addressed stamped envelope to send a copy to you. Good luck with your
