Thank you so much Sue. You've saved me a lot of time and energy with
your help. It seems that none of the names on the tombstones in these
cemeteries are the ones I hoped to find.
I really appreciate you taking the time to look up these cemeteries for
me. You're so kind!
Thanks again,
Sherry

I checked the cemetery book for these cemeteries and maybe you won't
have to go prowling in the woods and bushes.
One Richardson Cemetery (on CR. 12900 & it junctions 1210) only has 3
marked graves.
They are:
Judson J. Richardson- Nov. 23, 1835 - Nov. 20, 1916
Martha C. Richardson - Oct. 8, 1850 - Apr 3, 1920
Ova F. Richardson - daughter of J. B. and M. B. Richardson, Apr. 7,
1901 - Dec. 11, 1901.
There are 4 unmarked graves.
Another Richardson cemetery is south of the "Quincy Williams" homeplace
(I have no idea where that is) but, the cemetery book says abt 185 yds
on old road bed, called Fork Bottom Rd. and you go along the edge of a
field until it forks with a logging road. Follow the logging road
another 108 yds SW and the cemetery is about 25 yds west, in the woods.
There are two marked graves one is Nancy Richardson Apr 8, 1786 - Apr 2,
1846
The other grave is mostly illegible except for the Richardson name on
it. 28-30 other graves marked with field stone but no inscriptions on them.
The other Richardson cemetery is the Noah Richardsons cemetery. It is
off CR 1487, go N. abt. .3 mi to where it junctions with 1488. The
cemetery is in a pasture 100 yds E. of the road. There are 4 graves in
the cemetery but, farmers cultivating, have destroyed the field stone
markers and of the four graves with tombstones these two are the only
readable ones. (and you have to remember that this book was written
quite a few years ago so, they may not even be there, now)
Rev. Noah Richardson was a Bapt. minister, at Friendship, according to
the info. His grave reads:
Noah Richardson (1802 - 1866)
Elizabeth, wife of Noah Richardson ( 1804 - )
The Richardson - Garner cemetery is off of CR 1240. Go W. of Harris
Crossroads .9 mi. to were it bears North. The cemetery is 25 yds E. of
the highway on a clay ridge.
Those buried there are:
Bettie M. Richardson , wife of W. C. Garner, Died Feb. 1, 1916, aged 41
years.
Jerry Williams, Oct. 10, 1872 - Oct. 25, 1915
V. D Goins - June 25, 1829 - July 31, 1913
William A. Caddell, son of B. J. and B. M. Caddell, May 12, 1889 - May
12, 1890.
The Currie Family Cemetery is near Drowning Creek. Go E. from Drowning
Creek (at Montgomery Co. line) for .5 mi, Turn E. on private road and
go 300 yards through a farm yard. The cemetery is fenced with chain link
fencing.
The are 6 graves
Jeminae, daughter of J. L. and M. E. Currie, Jan 1, 1853 - Apr 19, 1909
M. Emley, wife of James L. Currie - June 1, 1829 - June 15, 1909
James L. Currie (Racer Currie) - Apr. 27 1827 - No. 21, 1900
James Gysostam Currie - son of James L. and M. E. Currie - Mar. 11, 1864
- Aug. 7, 1891
James A. Currie, Feb. 18, 1863 - Oct. 16, 1915
Dr Arch. Ray McFadyen, son of John and Barbara Ray McFadyen - (1832-1909)
Hope these are some you were looking for?
