My great grandfather, Franklin L. Macomber was a Union soldier in Salisbury
Confederate Prison. He died in December 1864 in the prison. Would he be
buried in the prison or were they buried in a cemetary near by. Would there
be a record of this anywhere. He was from Boston, Massachusetts and the
husband of Charlotte A. Bryant Macomber of Boston, MA.
