Does anyone know about George Stagner who married in Rowan County in 1793?
He married a Hillard. Is this the same George Stagner who was in Stewart
Co., Tennessee in 1811? Are there any records in Rowan County mentioning
a Nathan/Nathaniel Stagner or a Barney/Barnabas Stagner? Could they possibly
connect to immigrant John Barney Stagner who died in 1777 in Kentucky?
