My database shows Wendel Miller was born in 1724 and died 1805. His
first child by his first wife was born in 1756 and his last child by his
second wife in 1792.. I did a search of Black Hawk and found he was born
in Illinois in 1767. He became a warrior and eligible to marry at age 15
(1782). Various web sites show varying numbers and genders of children,
but his family was in Iowa and later went to the Lawton, Oklahoma area.
It is highly unlikely that the warrior who had the Black Hawk War named
after him could have had a daughter the right age to be the first wife
of Wendel Miller.
