Thanks for writing. Yes, his is my Christoph who came in 1754. He was in Rowan Co. by 1761 when he received
a land grant. I don't have anything before that.

Do you like "Carolina Cradle"? I have heard it is a good back to have for NC ancestors.

There was a Christoph Rindelman (other spellings, Rintelman and Rintelmann),
age 36 (b. ca. 1718), arrived at Philadelphia, PA on 12 Dec. 1754 aboard the
ship Neptune with William Mallane as Commander, the ship left from Hamburgh.

According to Ramsey's Carolina Cradle, Rintelmann did not stay long in
Pennsylvania before migrating to Rowan County, NC. Do you know when Christoph and
his family arrived in Rowan County?
