ONE MORE TIME -- another opinion. If you fix the caret problem and then
forward the document you can easily highlight all previous routing and then
delete. This saves unnecessary cutting and pasting.

Actually, the best way is not to forward messages. Instead, do a "select
all" and then "paste" into a new message window. Not only does this not
produce new carets or bars, but you don't replicate all the headers from
the multitude of previous forwards.
