The following is information taken from a copy of the will of John Benson ordered from Knox County, Ill. Believe him to be a son of Levin Benson of Greenbrier Co., (W) VA and married to Ann Craig.

Will makes no mention of wife and lists the following children:
Oldest son Robert Craig Benson, Rachael C. Benson, John M.C. Benson, Craig Benson, George Benson, Elizabeth Cambridge and Robert Cambridge, her husband, Nancy A. Terry and John Tery(sic), her husband, Rabecca (sic) Margaret Black and William her husband, Jane Burnap and Harvy (sic), her husband and Sary W. Black. Witnessed by Isaiah Stevenson, Robert Cambridge and Thos. P. Benson.

These old wills are difficult to read with little to no punctuation and incorrect spelling.
