Here is what I have on the 'Rasschaert' family. Not sure where the relation is to your family, but considering the unique lastname, and that they are both from Spalding, NE, I would bet there is a relation.

This is from the "Greeley Sacred Heart 1893 - 1993, Greeley, Nebraska", May 30, 1993, page 443:

"August and Elizabeth White Rasschaert"
Elizabeth White, daughter of James and Sarah Foster White was born <unknown>. Elizabeth married August Rasschaert of Spalding, son of Frederick and Maria (Beehaert) on Nov 25, <unknown>. To this union, seven daughters were born: Betty, Mildred, Ruthanne, Janet, Jeanne, Joan and Sally.

I am from the Foster family (of Greeley & Scotia Nebraska). Hope this information helps.
