Roy F Humrich and Lola G Humrich came to Holt County in 1919 from Lakeside, Nebraska, where they had homesteaded.
1921 bought a farm seven and half miles southwest of Stuart.
had three sons, Glenn, Harold, Roy Jr.
Roy F died 1942 farm accident. Lola sold farm and moved to Stuart, where she died in 1953.
Glenn graduated from U of Nebraska in 1933, and lived in California.
Harold, served in Army, in India during WWII, lineman with REA until he died in 1979.
Roy,Jr, WWII vet, employed in lumber business in O'Neill since 1954.

John Humrich has appraisals business in O'Neill in 2004.
