Hi, I'm writing up a family history for my fiance Susanah Nickels and very much want more information on immigrant Mathias Nickels/Nickle, b. c1750, d. c1837 in Knox Co., Tenn. I have tried everywhere to find/buy/borrow a copy of B.K. Nichols' out-of-print "Journey Along the Holston: A History of the Nickels Family" (1999) and I have tried numerous times to reach the author. Would someone be so kind as to send me information from book or elsewhere on Mathias's origins in Europe, and how he wound up in Knox County? And about his marriage? Thanks so much.
