Jan, Annie, & Others,
NJ State Archives will send photocopies of wills (with inventories)
for a very reasonable $5.00 per will. If over 10 pages there may be an
additional charge. I don't know what period of time their records cover,
though. I recently received one from 1722 & another from 1755. I was
fascinated by the handwriting and am still trying to interpret what some of
the items listed were!
There are online databases that include NJ Index of Wills--it would
probably help to have the information before you make a request. If you
can't find it online, I might be able to help if you e-mail me.
