Hello....

I'm new to the Pershing Co. list, but not new to Pershing Co., and thought
I would introduce myself.

My name is Shauna Wells. I was born and raised in Lovelock, and graduated
from Pershing Co. High School. So did my Mom! My grandad, Adam Rose, was
Sheriff for quite some years before retiring in 1967.

I am currently the coordinator for the Pershing County GenWeb Project site,
as well as for the message boards at GenConnect for Pershing Co. [bibles,
obits, pensions, wills, bios, etc.] These boards were just added within
the last couple weeks, so if anyone has any information they would like to
share, please stop by.

I am hoping to find others to help in transcribing the areas info: births,
deaths, marriages, cemeteries, census listings, membership lists, alumni
lists, area history, etc. Anyone willing to help let me know. All the info
will be posted online.

I go back and visit Lovelock and the surrounding area every year. (I live
in Oregon right now.)

My surnames being researched in the Pershing Co. area are:
ROSE, BROADY, STEVENS....I am related to others through marriage's to my
cousins.
