Dear Gail:
Eagle Street is in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn. If
you have a good map, look for the Newtown Creek which
separates Brooklyn and Queens on the East River. Eagle
Street is just a few blocks south of the creek, on the
point, and that particular address probably was between
Franklin St. and Manhattan Ave. Hope this helps. Best

I am trying to find the location of Eagle St. in Bklyn. My
map shows no
such St. The 1881 census index for Alice McDonald and
Children says her
address is 87 Eagle St. Online I found a church on Eagle
St.(Sts. Cyril
and Methodeus. but it is much too late 1917) If I knew the
exact
location of the street I could look around the streets
nearby for more
churches. Can anyone help??? Gail.
