Last year someone on this list talked about an index of deaths in NJ. Is
there any way to search this list? I'm in Illinois so I can't get to
Trenton. I am looking for information on when my gr-grandfather died. The
only thing I know about him is that he was sworn in as a citizen in No.
Bergen, Hudson Cty. in 1856. I don't know how long he lived after
that. He doesn't show up in the 1860 census but I don't know if that means
he was dead or had moved back to NY where he first applied for citizenship.

Any suggestions, please?
