I sent for a birth certificate on Patrick Michael Hinchy and the archives
said there wasn't one in Manhattan. I found him in the 1900 census in
Manhattan with his wife Christina and children Edward and Helen. I
thought the search was for all the boroughs. I know he was born on Sept.
1872 but since I found 4 different Patrick Hinchy's in the 1900 census
don't know how to go about finding the one I want and who his parents
were. If anyone can give me advise on how to look this up I would
appreciate it.
