Hello, Jeri.....

My Irish ancestors lived on GOERICK (many spelling variants abound!)
Street in Manhattan......

The street no longer exists, so you won't find it on any current map
site----it was situated exactly where the present-day Baruch Housing
Project is----between Columbia Street and the East River Drive........

GOERICK Street was actually parallel to LEWIS Street and MANGIN Street,
both of which still have tiny vestiges remaining of their former
prominence, so these will probably show up on the Mapquest site, but
GOERICK Street will not---because not a speck of it remains in existence

today.......... :-(
