Yes, it did, or at least one Saturday cruise did. Left NYC, stopped at Bear
Mtn to disembark passengers, arrived at West Point about noon; left about 4
pm, stopped to pick up passengers at Bear Mtn, returned to NYC in the dark.
Onboard meals, drinking and dancing to a live combo (I think), very romantic.
I was 14 when I made the trip with my grandparents in 1951; wistfully watched
the dancers and wished I could join them. That was the same summer they took
me to see Mel Torme live at Radio City. I was a hick kid from Water Mill and
drank it all in.
