What an interesting story.

Young women in those situations years ago often made up names or used a
convenient one. Unless someone has firsthand information you will never
know the truth. A woman could give any name and often did and no one
questioned.

A friend of mine born out of wedlock found out that the name used for
"Father" turned out to be a combination of her grandfather and great
grandfathers names.

Have no clue what ws might mean....wait staff..
