Hello everyone

I am searching for my grandmother, Blanche Marie Urkart. I have discovered
that she was born in East Setauket, New York about 1891. (She was 18 when my
father was born in 1909). There have been a few indications that her father
was also from New York, but I do not even know his name, other than I am
assuming that it was also Urkart. Blanche married an Edmund Domonick
Cunningham about 1908, location unknown.

I have been unable to locate even the Surname Urkart in any of the search
locations that I am aware of. I am hoping that someone familiar with this
area may be able to make a suggestion or two.

If I have written to the wrong list, please forgive me. I am new to the list
and to Genealogy in general.
