I am hoping to find out more about my ancestors Eliphalet Hotchkiss and his
wife Hannah, who appear to have moved to NYC during 1815. I have found his
name in Longworth's Almanac for that year, and his widow appears in the 1829
and 1835 editions, but I have been unable to find any copies to locate
street
addresses. Their daughter Lurenda married William Willis in 1825, most
likely
in NYC, as their children are said to have been born there. Would anyone be
able to help me find a street address via directories or census returns for
these families? Hannah died in 1858, Eliphalet in 1825. His occupation was
blacksmith. He was also a veteran of the War of 1812. William Willis was a
carpenter from Morris County NJ, and moved back there by the 1840's.
Mahalo and take care, Kevin
