Hello Everyone,

I have been stymied by the brick wall I have been trying to climb for about
10 years!

My grandmother and her three sisters and brother-in-law arrived in New York
April 30, 1903. Three of the five are lost after this point. My grandmother
and one sister stayed in NY, married and lived happily everafter. But, I
can't find one mention of the other two sisters and brother-in-law. I have
confirmed information from Ellis Island.

The one sister and her husband seem to have disappeared.
The third member of this is the youngest sister, who is only 16 when they
all arrived in NY. I am assuming she went with the married sister as there
seems to be no record for her in NY and any surviving family doesn't have
any knowledge of her existance. I have searched marriage and death records
for her to no avail.

These relatives I am looking for are:
Christiaan Hermanus Hannesmann Ooijkaas, 49yrs, (arrived from Suriname,
SA, via Haiti)
Christina Mathilda Ooijkaas, 35yrs (nee van Spall-spelled at Ellis as "van
Spael")
Alexina Sophia van Spall, 16yrs (spelled at Ellis as "van Spael)

I have no idea of what to do next....any advice?

Thank you!

Marie
