Hi Folks,

If anyone has access to city directories for the timeframe 1870-1880, I'd sure appreciate a lookup.

William MARTIN, was employed as a waiter

From what I'm finding, he immigrated from UK to NYC in 1870. I think at some point he found work in Cincinnati, and was there in June of 1880. He married my ggrandmother there in Nov 1880, and then moved back to NYC.
They moved very often, <big sigh>, between the Bronx and Manhattan. They had 12 kids and so far of the many I've found, no 2 children have the same birthplace (street) except for the twins!
