Thank you for your kind offer! Unfortunately my people were not here quite that early. ;-) I do think that's a great idea, though -- doing reciprocal lookups when we rent films. So, here I go putting my money where my mouth is ;-) ...
I just ordered 3 films today and am willing to do lookups when they come in. The volunteer at the FHC said that films were taking a very long to come in right now. (He hasn't received any in a month.) Apparently, the Salt Lake library was closed for repairs for 2 weeks and they're behind in handling orders. I will post when they're in and I can go to view them. The films I ordered are:
First German Presbyterian Church records
(this church was also known as the Rivington Street German Presbyterian Church)
Tape #1 - Births 1851 - 1861
Tape #2 - Marriages 1852 - 1872
Tape #3 - Paassenger Lists Arriving NYC 1846, surnames LAV - LEO *only*
