Thank you. I am not close enough to the city to go to the court itself and
get \the records. I have a feeling there was adultery involved as there was
remarriages later.

County/Borough in which the parties resided and obtained the divorce.
However, adultery was the only grounds for divorce in NYS until mid 1970's
and people went to other states whose laws had more liberal grounds for
divorce,,,and sometimes they just walked away from the marriage to another
area and remarried without obtaining a divorce ... hope this helps. jc
