I have had a reply from someone who told me that the County Home Cemetery
was in Bath, NY. Great news. I will have to go and see if I can find him
on my next trip home.

Does anyone have an idea if the County Home was for? Was it a geriatric
home or like a poor house? Where in Bath is the County Home? Thanks in
advance for your help. I wish you could have heard the huge scream that
came out of me when I found the news out today. His name was Perry B.
Stratton and he was born in 1810 and died in 1899!
