I did a lot of work trying to figure this out and got now where. I was
trying to find the original muster rolls, etc. and not just published
lists, though, so you may have better luck. There are many books which
detail NY in the War of 1812, so any large research library should do.
There are also lots of web pages available - try searching www.google.com
(or your own favorite) with "war 1812 york"

I found the 2nd and 129th regiments being from Central New York and have
web pages for what I was able to find:
