I have Hezekiah Rowley born 1800 probably in Avon or Lima Livingston Co. NY
with 3 sisters (Amy, Diane & unknown) and one brother David born April 3,
1810 in Lima, Livingston, NY.

Their parents may have been David Rowley b. September 6, 1755 in Kent,
Litchfield, CT and Eunice Fox or Eunice Fox Smith, a 2nd or 3rd wife.

David is related a very early Rowley line from MA>CT>NY and all places West.

While searching for Hezekiahs father, David Rowley, we discovered an Abel
Cutler who became the guardian for four Rowley children: Hezekiah, David,
Amy, Diane, and unamed child. The guardianship occurred on 25 April 1818.
David is known to have died in 1818, exact date unknown. We have found an
Able Cutler and Sarah Nixon in Lima, but no further details about the
guardianship.

Hezekiahs brother David, married Julia Ann Drayton (b. 1813 in Vermont)on
18 Sep 1832. David was born 3 April 1810 Lima, Livingston, NY d. 18 March,
1884 Buffalo, Erie, NY and was a jeweler and farmer. They had 8 children,
one of which was Edwin Dayton Rowley. The family was from East Avon,
Livingston, NY.

Hezekiah married 2nd wife Mary Ann Utter in MI and 1st wife Clarissa Gilbert
in NY. One son by Clarissa was David H. Rowley. He married Eliza Ann
Hemingway.

Hezekiah and many NY Rowleys moved to Michigan in the 1830s and remained
there most of their lives.

Would love to hear from list to find a few more clues.

Is there anyone in the area who could help me by obtaining probate
records??????
