It's not the solar flare ... it's real life.
I switched ISPs about a year ago, and LinkNY kept my site up a long
time, until now. The site is too big for me to put it up on my new
service, but the County is itself at long last getting a web site, which
will contain all the material on the old site, plus all the stuff I'm
ready to add now that a year has passed without my having access to it.
I promise to post the new URL as soon as it goes live, should be in a
few weeks.

Meanwhile, used the cached page feature on Google. Do a Google search on
the full name you're interested in (you should do that anyway, there's a
lot of stuff out there). Then scan down the search results until you
recognize the address of one of my pages; it will have the word "cached"
next to it. Click on that and you should get the page, dredged up from
wherever Google has it saved.

Believe me, no one is sorrier than I am about the inconvenience. If I
could have gotten the County to move faster, I would have ... the delays
have been very frustrating.
