Susan,

I have what may be a lead or a wild goose chase for you. My 2nd Great Grand
Aunt, Phebe B. WEEKES married an Ogden Drake, who was supposedly born ca
1789 in PA and died in Lansing, Tompkins, NY. While researching the WEEKES
and related surnames, who were Quakers, in the Finger Lakes area,
WestChester County, and Long Island, I have seen the surname DRAKE quite a
bit. I haven't done much work on the Drakes that descended from that
ancestor yet, so I don't have a lot to tell you, but I wanted to suggest you
look into the Quaker meeting records if you have not yet done so.

Also, In the IGI via familysearch.org I find a John S. DRAKE born in
Chemung, NY on 6 Mar 1798 to Jonathan DRAKE and Mary SHONTZ. Unless
Charlotte married twice, I didn't turn up anything interesting on her.
