I'm looking for the parents of Catherine Lanning, b. 7-1-1826 in Starkey,
Yates, NY. Her father was Joseph Lanning, the mother may be Ann Shinn.
Catherine m. Ashbel Hawes {and an incorrect death certificate has the
mother listed as Polly Lamb,} who actually was the Catherine's
daughter-in-law who had married Nelson Hawes.
