Does anyone have access to the 1820 Census for Tompkins County? Recently
I checked Ancestry.com's 1820 Census records which lists Tinnis COLE.
Unfortunately the page that comes up does not have any Coles. I have
checked all 9 pages of that Census series on Ancestry, but still have not
been able to locate this name. In the 1830 Census, Tunis COLE, a blacksmith,
is in Enfield, Tompskins County, so I suspect he might possibly be in the
1820 Census for Enfield. Any help you can offer would be appreciated. I am
trying to determine whether Tunis/Tinnis COLE connects with John COLE who
was a blacksmith in Waterburg. Knowing the ages and sex of those living in
the T. Cole household in 1820 might help. Thanks.
