In the work of another researcher of the ellusive Nicholas Phillips, there
is a reference to the "ill-fated Col. Berzcy Settlement at the Genesee"
which was provided passage back to Niagra and then to York Ontario where
"the transplanted German settlement prospered."

Where exactly was the settlement located??

Who were the settlers transported? Did any stay??
