Thanks, Bill, for spreading this important news. We are trying to
forward it to people we hope can help make an impact, too. So many
precedents which are not publicized and which are truly worrisome are
being set these last few years. We believe the purpose of the
Smithsonian is to increase the dissemination of science, information
and knowledge, not limit it.

Your contributions to the NYFingerLakes mail-list and to the federal
and state community as a whole are much appreciated. Keep up the good
work helping us keep up-to-date! Thanks!
