I, Benjamin Bell, of the town of Brasher, County of St. Lawrence and State
of New York, being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make publish and
ordain this my last will and testament that is to say. After all my lawful
debts are paid and discharged, I give and bequeath unto my daughter, Lydia
Ann, her support and maintenance as long as she shall live to be paid out
of Real and personal estate.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Maria, wife of Stephen Riley, two
hundred dollars to be paid within five years from my decease.
I give and bequeath unto my son Pardon Bell all the rest and residue of
my real and personal estate consisting of about one hundred and thirty
acres of land situated in the said town of Brasher and stock farming tools.
Likewise, I make constitute and appoint Eliah Highgard to the executor
of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by
me made.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 7th day of
July One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy-eight.
