I've recently traded posts with Doneva Shepard about Czarina FARR
(1816-1894) who married Nathan P KEYES (1818-?after 1894). It was a late
life marriage, and a second marriage for Nathan. He was first married to
Almira FARR (1811 - 1871).
Nathan KEYES was born in DeKalb; his parents were Nathan KEYES and Abigail
"Nabby" PHELPS. Czarina FARR was born in Hermon; her parents were James
FARR Jr and Elizabeth Ann SAINT LAWRENCE. Almira FARR was born in Oswegatchie.
Our question:
Does anyone out there know who Almira FARR's parents were? James FARR had
four brothers, Elijah, Thomas, Reuben and Jared. I have no idea of their
lines. Elijah appears in the 1830 and 1840 census in DeKalb and 1850 in
Oswegatchie. Reuben appears in 1820 in DeKalb and 1830 possibly in
Morristown. James appears in 1820, 1830 and 1840 in DeKalb; his widow is
in DeKalb in 1850.
I'd appreciate any light anyone can shed on this family.
Thanks!
Joe
